Colleges Stalkin' our Bloody Social Media

I was made aware of Colleges stalking our Social Media (Twitter, Facebook, Google+, etc) earlier this month, and found it... Interesting.
Apparently the issue was raised when a girl who didn't really have competitive grades in the first place posted some inappropriate words about fellow students and teachers WHILE at the college she wanted to go to.
I must agree with the decision to deny her request, but it seems this has started a wave of creating "professional" profiles... I don't see the need to be professional on Facebook, I just don't. If colleges just want fake people, go right ahead, but I enjoy expressing myself as an artist, whether vocally being against someone for their decisions is my idea. A lot of people are against 50 Shades of Gray, but at the same time it found global success as a book, which is could be considered a platform for art.
I feel like Colleges should go ahead and look, but with the right mindset, no one is a perfect angel, and that is an unrealistic expectation.

(Sorry, no pretty picture this time.)

Murder at the Nerman Museum

I recently had the opportunity to visit the Nerman Museum of Contemporary Art. Above is a sculpture made of Aluminum with various finishes to create texture. There were various of other things, most not able to take pictures of, unfortunately, but I liked the experience to see some different styles of artwork, from various different eras or mediums. I liked the sculptures, but there were also acrylic paintings that looked more like prints than paintings.

Killer Personality

I had the opportunity a few days ago to take a test called the Myer Briggs, which attempts (it's just a theory) to categorize personalities into various groups, and then able to find what they're better at (in group projects, or a career.)
My results are above, and the explanation below. Some people quote ENFPs being "The Inspirer"
I feel like this doesn't perfectly explain me, simply because I only have slight preferences in all but "Feeling", but otherwise it is a close fit.
Oh well~

Discussion on Bloody Graffiti and Logos

Earlier today, one of my teachers decided to be bold and say "Logos and Graffiti are very similar." I understand where she is going, but they are different mediums, in both use, and application. Graffiti is a free form medium, while logos rarely change.

Some say that graffiti is Iconic, but in reality it's hard to find when the 'artist' will strike next... Or where... Or if it's even the same 'artist'. Graffiti, although free form, are all very similar. It's usually outside, and abstract, with a variety of color.
On the other hand, logos are strict, and they try to be very unique and straight forward, and they are designed to be placed anywhere and every where. Although we don't know the artist who made it, we recognize the logo for being unique, like how McDonald's arch and Burger King's burger are starkly different.

Some say that they both attempt to represent an idea, and although Logos try to represent the business, Graffiti is similar to painting in that it can represent a large deal of topics. You could design a logo for the democratic party, or you could spray paint 5 different things against the Republican party. Graffiti, being illicit already, can handle almost any topic you want to throw at it, while logos need to be professional, and usually will only represent an entity instead of a topic.
